Reaction RamanProbeTM

Reaction RamanProbe fits in standard 24/40 opening. Shown with optional PVC overcoat on steel cable.

A new option for process development and process monitoring applications, the Reaction RamanProbe is a versatile, cost-effective probe for reactions at moderately elevated temperatures and pressures. Due to the compact design, the optical head can be placed at the tip of the 5/8" diameter probe for maximum throughput. The Reaction RamanProbe can be made several feet in length to achieve very long immersion depths.

The standard model is 13" (330 mm) long and constructed from 316 stainless-steel with an o-ring seal around the sapphire window. Various elastomeric materials can be used to withstand many chemical environments. For optimum resistance, Hastelloy C construction with a gold gasket is also available. This probe can also fabricated in longer lengths, and with different window materials.

Available with a compression-welded sapphire window, utilizing a metal-to-sapphire seal for an increased pressure rating.

Flanges can be welded to the Reaction RamanProbe for mounting into process lines and vessels. Consult with InPhotonics for availability and pricing.
