What's New at InPhotonics: New Products March 2012 - InPhotonics has introduced three new products:
InPhochelle Product Improvements July 2007 - It's been a long time since we've updated this section. Many new options are available for our probes; we've just been too busy to write about them! Both the Reaction RamanProbe and Process RamanProbe can be equipped with Hastalloy C immersion tubes. Additionally, probes can be special-ordered for 976 and 488 nm excitation wavelengths. Remember, we specialize in semi-custom and custom probes, so feel free to contact us with your requirements. Resolution specifications for the InPhotote and VERAX spectrometers were recently improved to 4 cm-1. These systems offer the best spectral quality (resolution, sensitivity) in their price range. New Technical Note May 2005 - Customers often inquire about the sampling spot of our fiber optic probes. This new Technical Note entitled Focussing Optics for a Raman Fiber Optic Probe I.: Measurement Volume describes how the choice of working distance for the final focussing lens affects the measurement volume and signal level. Stay tuned for Part II, which describes focussing optics for our immersible probes, including the ball lens. Auto-Focusing Raman Probe November 2004 - InPhotonics recently designed a custom fiber optic probe with viewing optics and auto-focusing capabilities. This probe can be used in many applications where manual positioning of the probe is not possible. The viewing optics also enable selection of the measurement area on a heterogenous sample. Customers interested in this portable, mini-microscope can learn more by reading our new application note: Auto-focusing Raman Fiber Optic Probe for Remote Measurements. New Application Note August 2004 - A new application note entitled Raman Spectroscopy for Homeland Defense Applications discusses the use of Raman, Surface-enhanced Raman, and UV Resonance Raman for security applications. Specification Guide Added to Website June 2004 - Confused about all the specifications listed for various spectrometers? We have added a specification guide to our website to help customers sort out the parameters used to describe Raman spectrometers. We hope you find it helpful in deciding which product is suitable for your particular application. VERAX Laboratory Raman Spectrometer March 2004 - InPhotonics proudly unveiled the VERAX at Pittcon 2004 in Chicago. The VERAX is a "mid-range" Raman spectrometer offering excellent specifications (6 cm-1 resolution, 250 - 1800 cm-1 range) at an affordable price (starting at $42,000 in the U.S.). With a standard RamanProbe, the VERAX is a versatile laboratory system for routine analysis and basic research. When equipped with one of our industrial probes and VizRaman software, the VERAX enables real-time reaction monitoring for process development.
